Newcastle Gateshead Quays on the River Tyne is just a fabulous place that you never tire from visiting. The four bridges, the Sage Gateshead and the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art combine to make an outstanding backdrop for any event or a photoshoot…especially a couples shoot for two city guys.
This photo shoot was with Lee and David. Lee won the shoot as a prize in a raffle (top prize I hasten to add 😉 ). Lee was very excited and up for doing anything on the day of the shoot. David his partner on the other hand was not. At all. He was looking forward to it as much as a trip to the dentist. But hats off to him he agreed to it in the name of love. Reassuring a reluctant partner is something I do regularly so we met up beforehand and had a chat about the shoot…
I was under strict instruction no weddingyfied (yes there is such a word) pictures, no cheese, no tack, no embarrassing poses in front of the public. It was a really fun shoot and these are my favourites from the day (I haven’t posted the bare chested, running towards me hand-in-hand, smoke-bombs ahoy ones…they would kill me 😉
